I made a couple of corrections to the map and some more information. The modifiers from the Planetary Empires game are listed with the aggressor.

Mike S. (Orange and Blue Tiles)has 1 Hive City which means he has 5 Command Bases, 1 Manufactorum, 4 Power Stations, 1 Shield Generator, 1 space Port because he is playing Dark Angels his values are: 50 Command, 6 Manufactorum, 40 Power Stations. He is the aggressor vs. Dave K.(40 Command, 12 Manufactorum, 30 Power Stations). This mean that for the mandatory battle Mike S., because he has a high Power Stations value he gets a +1 to his die roll for:picking his deployment zone, seeing who goes first, AND reserves rolls. Dave gets 50 extra points because he has a higher manufactorum value. Mike gets to roll 1D6 and if he rolls a 4+ he gives one unit in his army one universal special rule which it has for the duration of the battle only. Since Mike is the aggressor he has the option of a disable a manufactorum mission to try and equalize their manufactorum values. He can try any of the other missions as well.

Dave K. ( Purple and yellow) has 1 Hive City which means he has 4 Command Bases, 2 Manufactorum, 3 Power Stations, 2 Shield Generator, 2 space Port because he is playing Space Wolves his values are: 40 Command, 12 Manufactorum, 30 Power Stations. He is fighting Mike S (50 Command, 6 Manufactorum, 40 Power Stations).

Dave B. (Red and Orange) has 3 Command Bases, 1 Manufactorum, 2 Power Stations, 2 Shield Generator, 1 space Port because he is playing Tau his values are:27 Command Bases, 8 Manufactorum, 16 Power Stations. He is the aggressor vs Chris who is playing Renegade Imperial Guard his values are (16 Command Bases, 44 Manufactorum, 0 Power Stations). This mean that for the mandatory battle Dave B., because he has a high Power Stations value he gets a +3 to his die rolls for:picking his deployment zone, seeing who goes first, AND reserves rolls. Chris gets 150 extra points because he has a higher manufactorum value. Dave gets to roll 1D6 and if he rolls a 4+ he gives one unit in his army one universal special rule which it has for the duration of the battle only. Since Dave is the aggressor he has the option of a disable a manufactorum mission to try and reduce Chris' extra points to 100. He can try any of the other missions as well.

Theresa (Black and White) (Paul chose your tiles) has 1 Command Bases, 4 Manufactorum, 2 Power Stations, 1 Shield Generator, 2 space Port because she is playing Nids her values are: 7 Command Bases, 40 Manufactorum, 16 Power Stations. She is the aggressor vs. Matt R. (6 Command Bases, 27 Manufactorum, 27 Power Stations). This mean that for the mandatory battle Matt, because he has a high Power Stations value he gets a +1 to his die rolls for:picking his deployment zone, seeing who goes first, AND reserves rolls. Theresa gets 50 extra points because she has a higher manufactorum value. Theresa gets to roll 1D6 and if she rolls a 4+ he gives one unit in her army one universal special rule which it has for the duration of the battle only. Since Dave is the aggressor he has the option of a disable a manufactorum mission to try and reduce Chris' extra points to 100. He can try any of the other missions as well.

Tyson K. (Blue and Green) has 1 Command Bases, 3 Manufactorum, 2 Power Stations, 2 Shield Generator, 2 space Port because he is playing Nids his values are: 7 Command Bases, 10 Manufactorum, 32 Power Stations, vs. Andy's. He is the aggressor vs. Andy. (0 Command Bases, 9 Manufactorum, 27 Power Stations). This mean that for the mandatory battle Tyson , because he has a high Power Stations value he gets a +1 to his die roll for:picking his deployment zone, seeing who goes first, AND reserves rolls. Tyson gets 50 extra points because he has a higher manufactorum value. Tyson gets to roll 3D6 and if he rolls a 4+ he gives one unit in his army one universal special rule which it has for the duration of the battle only. No unit can have more than one USR and you can use each USR only once. Since Tyson is the aggressor he has the option any of the optional missions.

Thomas (Green) has 1 Command Bases, 4 Manufactorum, 1 Power Stations, 2 Shield Generator, 1 space Port because he is playing Space Marines his values are: 10 Command Bases, 24 Manufactorum, 10 Power Stations. He is the aggressor vs. Tyson G. (22 Command Bases, 10 Manufactorum, 20 Power Stations) This mean that for the mandatory battle Tyson, because he has a high Power Stations value he gets a +1 to his die roll for:picking his deployment zone, seeing who goes first, AND reserves rolls. Thomas gets 100 extra points because he has a higher manufactorum value. Tyson gets to roll 2D6 and if he rolls a 4+ he gives one unit in his army one universal special rule which it has for the duration of the battle only. No unit can have more than one USR and you can use each USR only once. Since Thomas is the aggressor he has the option of a disable a power station mission to try and equalize their Power Station values. He can try any of the other missions as well.

Chris (Purple) has 2 Command Bases, 4 Manufactorum, 0 Power Stations, 2 Shield Generator, 1 space Port because I don't know his which army he has chosen I don't have total values for him, his values are: 16 Command Bases, 44 Manufactorum, 0 Power Stations. He is being attacked by Dave B. (27 Command Bases, 8 Manufactorum, 16 Power Stations).

Matt R (Red) has 1 Command Bases, 3 Manufactorum, 3 Power Stations, 1 Shield Generator, 1 space Port. His values are: 6 Command Bases, 27 Manufactorum, 27 Power Stations. He is being attacked by Theresa. (27 Command Bases, 8 Manufactorum, 16 Power Stations).

Tyson G (Black) has 2 Command Bases, 1 Manufactorum, 2 Power Stations, 3 Shield Generator, 1 space Port because he is playing Chaos Daemons, his values are: 22 Command Bases, 10 Manufactorum, 20 Power Stations. He is being attacked by Thomas. (10 Command Bases, 24 Manufactorum, 10 Power Stations).

Andy (Green/Red) has 0 Command Bastions, 1 Manufactorum, 3 Power Stations, 4 Shield Generator, 1 space Port because he is playing Orks, his values are: 0 Command Bases, 9 Manufactorum, 27 Power Stations. He is being attacked by Tyson K. (7 Command Bases, 10 Manufactorum, 32 Power Stations).

Robert (Yellow) has 2 Command Bastions, 2 Manufactorum, 2 Power Stations, 3 Shield Generator, 1 space Port because I don't know his which army he has chosen I don't have total values for him, but if he is playing Space Marines his values are: 20 Command Bases, 12 Manufactorum, 20 Power Stations. He is the aggressor vs. Christian (30 Command Bases, 0 Manufactorum, 20 Power Stations). This mean that for the mandatory battle no one has a high Power Stations value gets the a +1 to his die roll for:picking his deployment zone, seeing who goes first, AND reserves rolls. Robert gets 150 extra points because he has a higher manufactorum value. No one gets to roll D6 and for a 4+ he gives one unit in his army one universal special rule which it has for the duration of the battle only. No unit can have more than one USR and you can use each USR only once. Since Robert is the aggressor he has the options of disable a power station or a command bastion so he can gain the bonuses for those or any of the other optional missions.

Christian (White) has 3 Command Bases, 0 Manufactorum, 2 Power Stations and 3 Shield Generators.because he is playing Space Marines his values are: 30 Command Bases, 0 Manufactorum, 20 Power Stations. He is being attacked by Robert if he is playing Space Marines (20 Command Bases, 12 Manufactorum, 20 Power Stations).

Please contact your opponents and set up games so we can meet January 22nd (I know that the 15th is the 3rd Friday, but this will give everyone a little more time if they were out of town for the holidays.

As far as the optional battles were concerned, in the 40K scenarios where I said an "Elite" unit what I really mean is that the aggressor can choose any unit and an HQ so you can take a Fast Attack or even a Heavy Support. The defender is still restricted to 1 HQ and troop units whose total points is double what the aggressor brings.

In first round action: Tyson K's Nids gobbled up 1850 points of Andy's Orks, but not before they killed a Hive Tyrant and his retinue, 2 Carnifexes and all but 9 genestealers, and a broodlord who had horrible luck. You know that we jusr plant spores and grow back for tomorrow's meal

First Round Results - Thomas vs Tyson G.

Skittles (Tyson G.) win. It was a narrow win. It came down to two dice on skulltaker ... if he failed either it would have been a draw. Facing off against two land raiders was uncool for skulltaker ... YIKES!!

Very good game!! Very Close!!

Cheers,

Goodman

Tyson G vs Thomas
If it would have been a draw, I would have given it to you, what with me forgetting to follow the night fighting rules on my turn, and you forgetting to move your units a few times.
Man, that was some fight with Captain Roy surrounded by demons. How many saves did that guy make? Emperor protect!

Dave B. vs. Chris S.

In our preliminary game my fighters were putting the hurt on Dave's bomber run until one of his Barracuda's made a suicide run at the manufactorum blowing it up (and himself) in a blaze of Glory!

In our main game his Tau and my IG clashed in a Capture and Control mission at dawn. His commander and suits systematically took apart my army, deep-striking down into the center of my force, blowing up my tanks from behind and shooting the crap out of my infantry. My return fire was inadequate and my army was cut to shreds.

Objectives were 1-0 in Dave's favor.

I figure that we will coordinate the changes to the map on Friday 1/22 at the Imagination SHoppe. If you can't be there let me know which tiles you want to capture and who you want to roll for it. We will select new opponents that night also. The order for selection will go like this. People who defended last turn and have the fewest tiles will select opponents first, then aggressors from the last turn who have the fewest tiles continuing to defenders last turn who have the most tiles and finally aggressors who have the most tiles. I still haven't heard from Christian. Anyone know if he is playing?

It was a long, epic battle down to the wire as claw and choppa flashed through te air but in the end, it was the greenskins standing as the victors.

Aka Matt's orks vs Theresa's Tyranids resulted in a win for Matt. :)

The newly emerged tyranid hive fleet was eventually victorious over the filthy chaos scum, after much griping from me about the crappy layout of the 'Nid codex and not being able to find anything. Chaos makes such poor bio-matter....
